    Privacy First. Site Cam is designed with your privacy in mind. All data stays on your device. We do not collect, store, or share any of your information.
  

1. Overview

Site Cam is a professional field documentation camera app for iOS. This policy explains what device features the app accesses, how that data is used, and how your privacy is protected.

2. Data We Access

Camera

Purpose: To capture photos for field documentation
Storage: Photos are saved to your iOS Photos library only
Control: Settings → Site Cam → Camera

Microphone

Purpose: To record voice captions for photos
Processing: Transcribed locally using Apple's on-device speech recognition
Storage: Text is saved locally with the associated photo
Control: Settings → Site Cam → Microphone

Location (optional)

Purpose: To embed GPS coordinates in photo EXIF metadata
Usage: Location is captured only at the moment a photo is taken
Sharing: Location data is NOT sent to any server or third party
Control: Settings → Site Cam → Location — the app functions without it

Photo Library

Purpose: To save captured photos and display them in the gallery
Storage: All photos are stored in your iOS Photos library
Control: Settings → Site Cam → Photos

Contact Information (you provide, optional)

Data: Name, company name, phone number — only if you enter it
Purpose: Embedded in photo EXIF metadata for professional documentation
Storage: Stored locally on your device only
Control: Edit or delete at any time in the app

3. What We Do Not Do

Upload your photos to any server
Transmit your location data anywhere
Share your data with third parties
Use analytics or tracking services
Display advertisements
Require an account or login
Collect any personal information beyond what you explicitly provide

4. Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device:

Photos: Saved to your iOS Photos library
Contact Info: Stored in app preferences on your device
Captions: Stored as text with associated photos
Site Cam does not upload any data to remote servers or cloud services

5. Third-Party Services

Site Cam does not use any third-party SDKs, analytics platforms, advertising networks, cloud storage providers, or social media frameworks. The only frameworks used are standard Apple iOS APIs.

6. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or transfer your data to any third parties. The only way your data leaves your device is if you explicitly share it — via the iOS share sheet, AirDrop, email, or iCloud Photos (if you have it enabled in iOS Settings).

7. Your Rights & Control

Access: All photos are accessible in the iOS Photos app
Edit: Modify or delete contact information in the app at any time
Delete: Remove photos through the iOS Photos app
Revoke Permissions: Disable camera, location, or microphone access in iOS Settings at any time
Uninstall: Deleting the app removes all app-specific data (photos remain in your Photos library)

8. Children's Privacy

Site Cam does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is designed for professional use by adults in construction, inspection, and field documentation.

9. Security

Since all data is stored locally using iOS's built-in storage mechanisms, it is protected by your device's passcode and encryption. No network transmission of sensitive data occurs.

10. Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, the "Last Updated" date will change and significant updates will be noted in App Store release notes. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance.
